Grants, loans and equity funding may be available to anyone from a sole trader to a large organisation, whether you want to start up or expand your business, invest in R&D or build overseas trade, or if you're in a rural area.
Yorkshire Forward administers several awards schemes on behalf of funders such as HM Government and the European Commission.
Financial Healthcheck with Yorkshire Forward

Yorkshire Forward is offering a fully funded Financial Health Check to Yorkshire and Humber based companies that meet their eligibility criteria. The Health Check has been designed to help businesses assess the financial strengths of the business and to survive and thrive in the current economic climate.
Rural Enterprise Investment Programme
REIP is a package of support for rural businesses needing public funding to start up or expand their current activites into new areas. To receive support, applications must be for grant investment of £25,000 or more and for a maximum of three years. Investments are targeted to a limited number of sectors, including the creative industries.
Skillset Multiplatform Bursaries
Skillset is investing £200,000 in multiplatform skills by offering bursaries worth up to £800.With 500 places available on 38 courses, Skillset can pay up to 80% of your multiplatform training costs. *Applications close on 26 March 2010.
Innovation Vouchers
Funded by Yorkshire Forward, Innovation Vouchers provide small to medium sized businesses (SMEs) in the region, with financial support to engage with Yorkshire's universities and other academic institutions to help their business grow and develop. Vouchers up to the value of £3000 can be redeemed to fund the cost of this practical knowledge and expertise.
UKTI: Passport to Export
Doing business in another country can be a challenge. Through the Passport to Export programme, UKTI offers new and inexperienced exporters free capability assessments, support in visiting potential markets, mentoring from a local export professional, free action plans, customised and subsidised training, and ongoing support once you're up and running.
