pulseThe latest Yorkshire drama to hit our screens promises to get your heart racing…Pulse is a tense supernatural medical horror written by Paul Cornell (Doctor Who, Primeval) and starring Claire Foy (Little Dorrit) as Hannah Carter. St Timothy's is one of the UK's top teaching hospitals, home to some of the country's most promising trainee doctors. But beneath its veneer of medical normality lies a secret network of dangerous experiments pushing back the boundaries of science with potentially horrifying consequences...A year after her mother's death, Hannah (Claire Foy) resumes her training at one of the country's top teaching hospitals. She is soon terrified by strange visions and the theatening behaviour of her ex-boyfriend and star surgeon Nick (Stephen Campbell Moore) and wonders if she has come back too soon. Beneath the hospital's reputation of medical excellence she discovers a secret network of dangerous experiments pushing back the boundaries of science….

Pulse will screen on BBC Three at 9pm on Thursday 3rd June, but it’s one of three homegrown drama pilots made for the channel that you can watch online one week prior to broadcast  - and let the programme makers know what you think via the site’s blog. It is hoped that the pilot will be developed into a full series.
