Jamie Sefton, Game Republic Sector Manager, Screen Yorkshire, says: ‘‘Attracting Eurogamer to preview the Expo outside of London for the first time was a major coup for the region and we're delighted that the event sold out and proved to be such a big hit. It was a fantastic opportunity to shout about the world-class talent we have based here - we've got over thirty companies producing everything from small Flash games, through iPhone titles to major games for Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo consoles, bringing up to £100 million into the local economy in the last year alone.''
