Get in the Game - Finalists Chosen (13/10/2009)
Three Yorkshire & Humber companies have been chosen to take their Sony PSP/PSN game projects to the Get In The Game workshop from 14th-16th October in Liverpool.
Four Door Lemon, Gaslight Games and Grant Midwinter will represent our region as they go forward to an invaluable pitching workshop, with Sony Liverpool and other well-known developers on-hand to give tips and advice on succeeding on the PlayStation Network - the PlayStation 3 and PSP digital download format.
The companies will then prepare their games presentations and return in late November to pitch directly to Sony's XDev Studio - with the best pitch winning the company a £10,000 investment from Screen Yorkshire.
The winning company will then receive special help and guidance from Sony to produce a prototype of their game, before finally pitching the game again in March 2010 in a bid to receive a full game commission from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.
