UK Technology Marketing Roadshow comes to Yorkshire (05/10/2009)
Do you want to win IT/Games business internationally and sell to the biggest economies in the world? UKTI is running two free half-day events in Yorkshire - Leeds on 8th October & Sheffield on 12th November.
UKTI (UK Trade & Investment) is organising roadshows around the UK, which are free to attend, that focus on the opportunities for international trade. There will be a session on pitch training as part of a wider initiative of assisting companies to earn how to sell their companies overseas (from the backdrop of UK Technology - the ICT Marketing Strategy). The purpose is to prepare companies for exhibiting at events such as TW09 and others.
The UK's reputation is built on innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship. UK companies are often great at what they do, but not so good at getting their messages across!
The two dates in Yorkshire are:
Thursday 8th October
3 Albion Place, Leeds, LS1 6JL
Thursday 12th November
Novotel, 50 Arundel Gate, Sheffield, S1 2PR
Both dates are 9.30am-1.00pm.
These events will:
- Focus totally on export opportunities
- Provide information on the opportunities and sources of new business from G20 countries spending plans
- Give you a sales and marketing checklist to ensure you are ready to take advantage of the opportunities for international business success
- Show you the massive source of information and support available
through the UK Technology website
- Introduce you to other companies who are succeeding in developing business internationally
