'TV Anytime Anyplace Anywhere' offered an introduction to the world of Connected TV, which consolidates the linear TV, VOD, games and web content onto one platform, demonstrating the possibilities that these new platforms can offer different areas of the creative industries. The industry forum, presented by Screen Yorkshire and RTS Yorkshire, took place in Leeds on 23rd November.
Our highlights video features Marc Goodchild (BBC Future Media & Technology), who outlines the concept and potential of IPTV and how it consilidates the web and TV experience; Christina Scott (BBC Future Media & Technology General Manager, Children's, Sport and Applications), who talks about the BBC's IPTV aims and gives a review of their development process, alongside industry insiders including Robin Cramp (Screen Yorkshire); Mike Best, (BestMedia); Paul Bader (Screenhouse, Chair); Darren Fawcett (Pace Technology) and Andrew Gayter (Ioko - pioneers within the IPTV space).
