Do you want to learn how scripts have transformed into TV that captivates young, imaginative minds?
BAFTA winning CBeebies is one of the most loved channels by young children and produces a raft of exciting programmes including Mr Bloom's Nursery, ZingZillas and Rastamouse to name a few. To celebrate the launch of the brand new writing competition ‘Get a Squiggle On’ and the CBeebies department move to MediaCity in Salford, BBC writersroom north would like to invite you to a special Q&A with an inspiring panel of CBeebies experts.
Chaired by Kate Rowland, BBC Creative Director of New Writing and Head of BBC writersroom, the panel will consist of:
Alison Stewart - Head of Cbeebies Production, Animation & Acquisitions
Ben Faulks - Presenter and writer of the new CBeebies series Mr Bloom’s Nursery.
Adam Redfern – CBeebies producer and writer whose credits include Kerwhizz, ZingZillas, Nuzzle & Scratch, Gigglebiz
This is a perfect opportunity to pose your questions and learn what it takes to engage and excite a pre-school audience. You will also be able to find out more about the fantastic new writing competition ‘Get a Squiggle On’.
The Q and A is taking place at the Royal Exchange Theatre, St Ann's Square, Manchester, M2 7DH, on Tues 14th June.
The event is from 4 – 5.30 pm and attendance is free.
