BFFS Film Society of the Year Awards 2011 – Apply Now! (21/07/2011)
BFFS is delighted to announce that the Film Society of the Year Awards 2011 have opened for applications. Whether you're a new group or an established award winner, BFFS would love to see an application from your film society or community cinema. Now in their 42nd year, the awards are an important BFFS tradition that help us showcase the important work that you do.
This year BFFS are delighted to announce a new-look suite of awards, including FOUR new categories, including the brand new Filmbank Audience Award, which comes with a cash prize of £1000 for the top winner.Application to the Awards is open to any UK film society, community cinema or community screening group.
Dates for your diary:
The deadline for applications is 8th August 2011. The Film Society of the Year Awards Ceremony will take place on Saturday 17th September 2011 at the Cine Lumiere in London's South Kensington.
Electronic applications are encouraged (this enables easier access to your applications by the judging panel).
