Creative England launches (03/10/2011)
From 1st October Creative England will take over responsibility from the Regional Screen Agencies for supporting the film sector in the English Regions. Creative England now receives DCMS Grant-in-Aid from the BFI to support the strategic development of film in the English Regions, and is a BFI delegated body for the distribution of National Lottery funds for film.
Screen Yorkshire is an independent organisation that has a number of contracts to support the creative industries both within Yorkshire & Humber, and at national level. It will continue to deliver activity that will support the creative industries and will make further announcements in due course.
