Holmfirth Film Festival (20/04/2011)
Now its second year the Holmfirth Film Festival has 7 days of screenings and film-related events planned across the Holme Vally between 21-28 May.
Screen Yorkshire is a funder of the festival with lottery funding. Screenings include Submarine (21 May); Brighton Rock (21 May); Winter's Bone (22 May); City of Life and Death (22 May); Brassed Off (22 May); Brights Star (23 May); Skeletons (24 May); Of Gods and Men (25 May); Animal Kingdon (27 May); Another Year (27 May); Inside Job (28 May); and True Grit (28 May).
Other events include The Morrissey Trail; Curry and Film Nights; Cartoon Workshop; a celebration of the music and films of Nico; film poems night; a soundtracks night with live scores; local short films night; and much much more.
