NETWORKING, SCREENING & A CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS (11/03/2011)
West Yorkshire Independent Filmmaking Network holds a monthly networking event at The Roast, 1 Whitehall (riverside), Leeds, LS1 4BN. They are there on the first Tuesday of every month from 6:00pm for filmmakers and anyone who wants to be involved in the film world to come along and network with their peers. Screenings from 7:30pm open to filmmakers and film lovers alike - and there will be the chance to win a pair of tickets to Hyde Park Picture House and a Bottle of wine.
The next instalment of #ccshorts on 5th April is an exciting one, with a varied programme including the 2011 Oscar nominated "Wish 143" from director Ian Barnes starring Dean Andrews, Oliver Arundale and Annette Badland. We also have an exhilerating internationl short from Andrew Wonder and the short film "Rebound" starring Ruth Jones from Gavin and Stacey plus many more. WYFN is now screening in Sheffield at the Showroom cinema too, so film makers get their films to a wider audience. This event is produced in association with South Yorkshire Filmmakers.
WYFIN is always looking for new submissions from all film makers of all experience, from Documentaries to Animation, Drama to Comedy. It is a great way to get the word out about your film and receive direct audience feedback. If you have a film to submit please in touch.
