SHORTSBREAD - featuring Q+A with Gareth Edwards (01/07/2011)
WYIFN hold their latest networking event 5th July at Dock Street Market, Leeds when they will host a screening of Gareth Edwards (Monsters) short 'Factory Farmed' which kicked off his career. Gareth will be present for a Q&A and there will be the usual mix of local talent to meet, short films to watch and prizes to win (including 2 tickets to the Hyde Park Picture House). It will also be the last chance to enter WYIFN's latest film challenge.
This months Shortsbread event will be themed around film challenges to fall in line with the launch of our latest challenge - Tell us a secret. Details of which can be found here.

WYIFN will be screening some films which have been created as part of Left Eye Blind's latest 2.8 days later challenge. Also we will be screening Gareth Edwards "Factory Farmed" The short film that won him the London Sci-Fi 48hr film challenge and helped catapult him to the forefront of indie filmmaking. Then we will be linking up with Gareth for a Q+A session. Come along and ask him about his experiences, his ups and downs, taking the reigns of the Godzilla franchise or anything else you might want to find out about the stresses of success.
This event will be the last chance to pick up an information pack for our latest film challenge. Also it's an ideal opportunity to put your crew together for your entry.
