The Big Apple Beckons: BAFTA Searches for the British Comedy Stars of the Future (08/06/2011)

BAFTA is heading across the pond for a very special incarnation of the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Forum. Teaming up with the New York Television Festival and BAFTA's official airline British Airways, BAFTA will take three new British-based writers to the New York Television Festival (NYTVF) from 20-25 September 2011 and showcase their work in front of the cream of the US TV industry. Whilst there, BAFTA will organise special one-to-one meetings with top development executives, giving the writers an amazing opportunity to pitch their projects and forge US contacts.

This new writing forum is specifically for comedy pieces for the small screen. Features and serious TV dramas are not eligible. All the usual terms and conditions apply, plus a few more so please read them carefully.
