Case StudyNick Hodson, Accounts Trainee

The Damned United I first got in touch with Screen Yorkshire when I registered on the NORTHERN EXPOSURE database as an Accounts Trainee, and was contacted by the Accountant working on THE DAMNED UNITED. I was hesitant about leaving my 9-5 job to take on work as a freelancer, but with Screen Yorkshire's invaluable help and support, I have since worked on three regionally-based major productions and have never looked back.

Screen Yorkshire has provided me with support and guidance in the form of CV workshops, networking events, and funding for Sage training, which I have put into practice on my most recent job
(MARRIED, SINGLE, OTHER). The team always follows my progress and gives me ad-hoc advice to keep my career on the right path, and I am very grateful for their continued support.
