Fountains Abbey

Fountains Abbey was once the home of devout monks seeking a simpler existence, the beautiful ruins and its enchanting surroundings remain a perfect place to unwind and appreciate nature. The abbey ruins are part of the UNESCO World Heritage site, Studley Royal Park, also home to a beautiful 18th century water garden.

The scenic remains of the abbey are an ideal location for filming and have been used in productions including Anne Boleyn (2011), The Witcher (2021), All Creatures Great and Small (2021) and The Great British Dig (2023).
