Plumpton Rocks

The finest 18th Century picturesque garden in Britain

Plumpton Rocks is an historic 18th century landscape garden. It features 30 acres of parkland with tranquil lakeside walks, dramatic Millstone Grit rock formations, romantic woodland trails, winding through bluebells and rhododendrons.

The lake, woodland, parkland and dam have recently been restored to their 18th Century glory. Its magical charm has attracted film and TV crews; most recently for series 2 of Netflix fantasy drama The Witcher and also the feature film version of Swallows and Amazons.
