**Our Freelancer Forums are now moving to a regular monthly event as part of our new Crew and Facilities Service.  The first of these will be on Wednesday 12th August at 18:00.**

Whilst nothing can quite replace shooting in the breeze at Malham (we’ll get back there one day!), we’ve been looking at ways that Screen Yorkshire can support the regional freelance film & TV production community during these uncertain times.

After speaking to a number of you personally and trialling some initial zooms, we’ve come up with a format that we feel offers freelancers based in Yorkshire and Humber a chance to get together with us online to offer peer to peer support and advice in an informal setting and signpost to industry or government initiatives that might be able to assist you.

It’s also an opportunity to share how COVID-19 is affecting you personally and identify any gaps in support, so that we can build this into our regional feedback to the BFI Screen Sector Task Force. Anything discussed in the zoom will of course remain confidential and will not be shared without the individual’s prior permission. We ask that anyone joining the zoom forum respects the confidentiality of other participants.

We are aiming to keep the groups relatively small so that everyone taking the time to join the zoom has an opportunity to take part in the conversation and registration is essential.
