Screen Yorkshire Recruits TV Mindset Founder Adeel Amini and Fremantle’s Senior Vice President, Global Branded Entertainment, Samantha Glynne, to its Board of Directors

Screen Yorkshire today announces that two high profile media industry figures are joining its board of directors. Senior entertainment producer Adeel Amini, and Fremantle’s Samantha Glynne, both from Yorkshire, will be joining the Board this February.

Adeel Amini, a Bradfordian, formed The TV Mindset in 2018, a mental health support group for freelancers which advocates for constructive change in the industry, advising and informing policies of key decision makers and institutions. Adeel won the Edinburgh Television Festival Industry Champion Award 2020 for his work on behalf of freelancers during the Covid pandemic. A senior entertainment producer, Adeel’s TV credits include Catchphrase, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, Blind Date and 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.

As a proud Bradfordian, I'm thrilled to be joining the board of Screen Yorkshire. It is my belief that our regions are vital in shaping the picture of national creativity, and Screen Yorkshire are already doing excellent work in this space. I look forward to working with them closely and making sure that our homegrown (and particularly our diverse) talent remain a key part of every conversation in this industry, which I hope we can make as accessible as possible to everyone for years to come.
